Importance of the writings of the Early Fathers

The writings of the Fathers (i.e… The writings of Saint Athanasius the apostolic, Saint Cyril the Great, Saint Basil, Saint Gregory of Divinity, Saint John Chrysostom, and others during the early centuries of Christianity is the reference that we rely on in our straight doctrine in understanding the Bible in a straight way without deviation, and in knowing the Christian life as lived by the apostles and the believers during the early centuries.

Therefore, publishing those writings is basic task and essential for us; the Christians in this age.

The Patristic Center was established for 3 main goals:

• Translating the writings of the Early fathers from the original languages to the Arabic language.
• Issue researches and studies specialized in the writings of the early fathers.
• Spread the teachings of those early fathers within the believers.
